I didn’t like my mother’s painting of “Down by the Railroad Tracks” for a long time.  I wanted to fill it up so it wouldn’t be empty.  I wanted three bears sitting on chairs to be waiting in the train station. I wanted pies flying in the skies, cherry pies!
